Pharmacodynamic antibacterial effect is similar to tylosin, mainly against gram-positive bacteria, but also effective against a few gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasma. Its activity against Actinomyces pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella and mycoplasma of livestock is stronger than that of tylosin.

Due to its special antibacterial activity and pharmacokinetic characteristics, this drug has been approved for clinical use in the Chemicalbook prevention and treatment of infectious diseases in cattle, goats, sheep, dairy cows, pigs, chickens and other animals.  Especially the treatment of livestock and poultry respiratory diseases, such as actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, pasteurellosis and mycoplasmosis, and mastitis in lactating animals.
